Self Portrait with Bag

Camera-less portrait of the artist. Super 8 cartridges placed inside a black cotton bag, the film advanced via a hand crank. The tiny gaps in the fabric weave make for dozens (hundreds? thousands?) of tiny pinholes.

Passagem

Passage, an essay-film about what is beyond the memory that is lost, a memory in the body, perhaps. I thought about that the day my grandfather left me alone with my grandmother and I realized that she no longer knew me.

Rever

See Again like someone looking at the world for the first time. Rêver, in French, to dream. Versions of the same palindrome-word find their tangents of repetition, imagination and reverse movement in the form of the film.
